Standard Terms & Conditions

Before release of any vehicle, the following must take place:


At least 24 hours before collection

  • A Copy Driving Licence Is Taken And Kept

  • A Copy Of Photo ID Taken And Kept

  • A DVLA licence check is completed by NoCo and a copy is kept

  • A Copy Of 2 utility bill proofs of address are taken and kept


At collection of vehicle

  • A Cleared And Traceable Deposit of £500 plus VAT Is Taken From Hirers

  • There Will Be A Rental Agreement In Force With The Hirers

  • The Keys Will Be Issued Face-To-Face

  • A Vehicle Inspection Carried Out With The Hirer Present


At return of vehicle

  • The Keys Will Be returned Face-To-Face

  • A Vehicle Inspection Carried Out With The Hirer Present

  • Deposit returned with 2 working days if no damage or items missing


Indemnity provided under this policy is extended to cover any insured vehicle whilst let out on hire subject to the following conditions:-


  • Prior to the commencement of any hire the Insured shall have:

a) Inspected the driving licence of the hirer and any other permitted driver.

b) Satisfied themselves that the hirer and any driver

i) are not under the age of 25 or over 75 years of age.

ii) has held a full UK or EU licence for a minimum of two years.

iii) has not had their licence suspended for any period within the last three years.

iv) has not been involved in more than one fault incident within the last three years.

v) has no more than two convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction.

vi) has not obtained a BA,DD or UT conviction


  • The insured vehicle shall only be let out on hire to a person who has signed and completed a rental agreement or the hirer/driver proposal for each period of hire.


  • The insured shall have completed , prior to releasing vehicle, identity checks including copies of all drivers licences, 2 utility bills dated within three months of the hire and the deposit being taken by a clear and traceable means such as a debit or credit card.


  • In the event of a claim resulting from the use of cooking/heating appliances, a 25% co-insurance excess will apply, subject to a minimum excess of £500.


  • The Insured vehicle shall not be used for the carriage of goods of an explosive, dangerous or hazardous nature or for the carriage of goods or passengers for hire and reward or any other form of profit or remuneration.


  • Band equipment left in the van is uninsured by Noco Management Ltd and should be insured by the hirer in the event of a theft or damage incident.


  • Any traffic offences incurred including civil will be passed to the main hirer and will not be the responsibility of Noco Management Ltd. In certain instances where a small time limit is allowed for payment such as tolls / parking etc then Noco Management Ltd may pay these and will contra charge the hirer by invoice.


  • Cancellation / Booking policy:


For bookings of 1-3 days – 50% deposit required on booking to secure

For bookings of 4+ days – £250 deposit required on booking to secure


Bookings cancelled 28+ days prior to collection – full deposit refund

Bookings cancelled 27-14 days before – 50% of deposit retained

Bookings cancelled 13-7 days before – full deposit retained


Full payment required 7 days before collection, customer damage deposit of £500+VAT required 24 hours before collection.


  • Early return

Refunds for early return at discretion / dependent upon if replacement bookings can be found. Any refunds offered will be in the first instance in the form of a credit note deductible off future bookings that aren’t already confirmed. 



  • Excess / Standard Charges

Noco Management Ltd reserves the right to charge the following for damage and or loss at the following rates.

  1. Damage £1000.00, if a claim is progressed then this will be in the name of the person driving when the damage was caused or if this cannot be established then it will revert to the Hirer.

  2. Theft £10,000.00 (25% of the value of the vehicle)

  3. Windscreen £250, Side windows £200

  4. Loss of key £500

  5. Tv breakage £350

  6. Loss of remote £50

  7. Loss of Wifi Dongle £150

  8. ​Vehicle always hired with 100% Diesel level. If it is returned at anything less than 100% then a £20+VAT admin charge will be taken from Customer Damage Deposit along and the cost of replacement fuel at the rates stated on that day by MFG Greengate.
